Launched in 2015, TEF Entrepreneurship Programme is the largest African philanthropic initiative devoted to entrepreneurship and represents their 10-year, $100 million commitment, to identify and empower 10,000 African entrepreneurs, create a million jobs, and add $10 billion in revenues to Africa’s economy.

The vision for the Foundation is to unlock the obstacles that Africa’s entrepreneurs face as they grow their start-ups into small to medium enterprises (SMEs), their SMEs into national growth companies, and their national growth companies into African multinationals.

TEF seeks to “institutionalise luck” and create an environment where entrepreneurship can flourish in a sustained manner.

There are 1000 places available annually for the applicants that are selected by the Selection Committee for a placement in the programme.
